but I just walked out of Old Navy crying

because I fit into and bought a pair of size 20 jeans!

I've never been able to buy jeans in Old Navy (or any other mainstream stores). And a little over a year ago this time, I was in a size 26 jeans.

I felt like such a dumbass walking out in tears. So, I called my best friend. She didn't answer. I left her a crying message, but assured here I was okay, just excited. Then I called my mom who freaked out when she heard me crying. I was like, "no, really, it's okay. i'm excited. i just can't stop crying."

And I got new hair! And my boy is moving from Houston to Auburn this weekend!

Life is good.

It took a year, but I did it. I feel fan-freaking-tastic, well, kinda. I figured it up last nite that I've lost 51 pounds and over 23 inches since March 07. It makes me happy, but I still have a lot of work to do.

But now, new hair! Any suggestions as what to do? There's a new salon here, a girl moved from NOLA. I'm thinking about going to her. We shall see...

So, a new goal of another 50 pounds, hopefully within the same time. Is that reasonable?

I have to get back to my exercise routine. I haven't done much since I got back from Ireland a month ago -- booo! So, next week, I must get back to at least cardio three times a week. Then I'll work back up to something 5-7 days a week.

When I get back to being able to eat everything again, I wanna try some incorporating monotrophic meals into my diet. Not a solid monotrophic diet, just a couple meals here and there. Thoughts?

None of my clothes fit. I need to get rid of them and get new ones, though I definitely don't want to spend the money right now. Know anybody who needs my clothes? Sizes 22-26, pants and tops, mostly Lane Bryant?

the band's table...i love it!

we drove a ways up the west coast of ireland today, hitting the cliffs of moher, black head and galway. it rained most of the time in galway, but they're used to it here :)

came back for dinner at the hotel and then headed out to the streets. ended up at dolan's pub with some of the group. had an excellent time and a tasty cider!

I think doors and signage might be the theme for my personal work here in Ireland. I got a couple shots today, nothing spectacular. The past 30 some odd hours have just been documenting the travels.

The whole crew and all the gear made it to Limerick. Yay, AU.

It's almost 6 PM central time, so it's around 11 PM here in Ireland. I'm exhausted from little sleep the last day and a half.

Tomorrow, the Cliffs of Moher and Galway!

but i've been around.

this won't be much. just a short update of sorts and some new pictures...

so, the boy's been visiting me for the last several weeks. and i've LOVED it!

we went to his friend's wedding and were ridiculously cute. it was nice to get to meet some of his friends since i've met very few of them.

we went to south la for mardi gras. got to visit with some family and friends and take in a couple parades.

apparently, he likes taking random pictures of me at odd times, like when i'm passing through the alcohol aisles in winn dixie.

This is what work looked like on Friday...

I spent all day in Atlanta with some co-workers, Marty (the pilot and AU grad) and the Spirit of Innovation (one of GoodYear's three blimps). We flew over Tara Field and the Atlanta Motor Speedway, while watching NASCAR drivers land their own planes and prepare for the PepBoys 500. Those cars are loud, btw.
As soon as I got back from ATL, I changed and such and spent all night shooting a black-tie event. Some lady decided she needed to take my camera from me so I'd have proof I was there :)
Then there was a game Sat, of course.

I'm exhausted. I will definitely be sleeping on the plane and in between flights tonite while on my way to New Orleans! I'm ridiculously excited. Clint's company meeting is in the Quarter this weekend. So, I'll be staying at Hotel Monteleone with him and all his nerdy co-workers ;) I'm also going to spend some time with my grandparents and some old college friends!! And my famiily "just so happens" to be coming down that same weekend. I can't wait!
